A week before starting my OJT in Concipio Tektura, I felt a little anxious because I don’t have enough experience in using rendering software’s as I am more practiced in manual drawings. Aside from that, my understanding in using AutoCAD are already vague since its more than a year when I last used it and I usually use SketchUp or ArchiCad whenever I do planning and detailing. | © Concipio Tektura Architectural Design Studio |
As my task in doing kitchen design goes on, I encountered a lot of problems and at the same time, I found new knowledge about detailing. I become more aware that in using/creating sizes for kitchen appliances in a drawing, I should know that it must be based on sizes available in the market. Moreover, when it comes to its specifications, I must know if those can be done or match the available and exact real materials.
As I continued doing the kitchen details and 3D model with the ideas given to me by my mentor, I was able to let myself know the things that I didn’t know before and when I was just starting my apprenticeship. I also can say that my apprenticeship on Concipio Tektura has helped me improved on the things that I lack ever since studying Architecture and gave another step on making myself prepared to be a future Architect. Thank you Sir Baño!
